Spring Quarter!(START)

umumum. ITS BEEN OFF TO AN AMAZING START.

How could I possibly express what has happened? Well...to start....my classes (interactivity, motion, and design history) are all AMAZING. I'm so glad to be taking all of them even though they're pretty challenging and time consuming. Its all super important stuff that I'm actually passionate about so...I couldn't be happier. I feel productive, wheras in drawing and color...it wasn't anything, really. Just coming back from that amazing spring break has been really good to me; I feel like I was fully recharged and then some. I got a job as graphic designer/marketing assistant at UCLA recreation! IT FELT GOOD, MANG. First OFFICIAL PER HOUR job!

...oh, and Mike is my boyfriend now. WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST REASON TO MY HAPPINESS. First week back was just a whirlwind of emotions, confessions, and all that.

BUHUHUHU. I'll talk more about it later (its all recorded in the physical journal which is at 100%...I'm still not quite sure how much I should post up...perhaps 20% here haha)

Spring Break

Its been a bit crazy, huh? Winter quarter ended with little fanfare, everything went as expected, and everything flowed smoothly into spring break.

I'm pretty proud of this thing even though its soft cover and kind of ghetto. OH WELL SIMPLE AND CLEAN IS HOW I LIKE IT.

It was really nice to go home again. Jeanine also came over...which was pretty amazing. MY BATTERIES ARE RECHARGED. Everything that I had doubted this past year, she put back into place and reassured me, and everything that COULD have been, she was a catalyst. I'm so lucky. Remember all the midnight talks we'd have about the state of our nation/world, how to be the best people we could be, how to make things happen, and how we are limited only by what we perceive ourselves to be, ect ect. Remember all our moments/constant craziness (FENG LE ALL THE TIME). Remember visiting our school, driving to Briones late late late at night and listening to the rain in the darkness, taking photos the next day in Briones + finding THAT tree + running in the road + all that Loard's ice cream.

Also, spring break was when Mike told me he liked me. OH, THOSE NIGHTS AT 4AM ON FB CHAT, HOW I SHALL REMEMBER THEM.

"I pretty much just waltzed through this year all high and mighty -like, until for some reason i tripped and fell, and when i looked up the elephant was there....aaand kept growing until i couldn't really ignore it anymore, which was sometime last week, aaaaaand now I'm starting to like you."
