For some reason I've been thinking that for the past two days. What.

Oh and photos. Of me. Because I'm afraid to bring the camera out bc of thieves and there isn't anything to really shoot at art school and no time uguuu

So I was kicked out of art class yesterday during second shift...Honestly, I wasn't painting at 100% and I guess it showed...when my teacher was making rounds to see how we were doing, she looked at mine and told me to go home because I didn't improve/got worse in the last two days. I didn't believe her at first, I mean...I didn't know things like this actually happened...but she kicked all my paints into a pile for me to put away so I packed my stuff and left. Came home to Alan and Jenny and we vchatted until their ungodly hours of 6am. That...made my day/night/week/stay in China. They couldn't talk because it was so late and parents were sleeping so it was just me yammering on and on but just having them there made me so happy. Alan was a ninja, I cosplayed him alot, and Jenny just laughed alot and was a wonderful wife. Alan fell out of his chair and we lol'ed like no other. We made weird voices. I made the same noises Jenny's neighbors make when they're um...OH BABY. So fun, so fun.

I made them wake up at their 1pm, my 4am because I thought 6 hours of sleep was enough and 2 alarms would wake me up but I woke up at 7:30 instead OTL. Feeling not inspired or motivated to draw/paint at all, I skipped class today. If I can't draw well, why go at all? I just need to get over this block and rest. I went to Wangfujing and Xidan today, got a haircut in WFJ at TONI&GUY, apparently THE best place to get a haircut in Beijing. I got the cheapest cut (150 yuan...I'm used to 20 yuan cuts @_@) by the lowest ranking stylist...but its the best haircut I've ever gotten. I've never felt so.....good about it or myself. Anyway, there was some difficulty communicating what kind of cut I wanted (they thought I wanted an inverted bob LOL) but we figured it out. My stylist, Ian Cao, is the most handsome man that I've ever seen in China. I was too shy to even LOOK at him until he started talking to me, and he talked to me ALOT. He like...got my life story out of me and as I told him more and more he started cutting more slowly so that he could listen more (he said it himself). He asked if I had any friends in Beijing and when I said that I didn't have any bc of my art school and the way it is, he told me he'd be my friend and he gave me his card and number. I don't know what to do with it, except look at it and think of him HAHA. I'm just a silly girl.

After the amazing hair salon, I went to starbucks, only to walk out because the average price for a small drink was 40 yuan. That's a high quality shirt/0.25 of a haircut/4 haircuts back in humen/20 morning crepes. Crazy stuff man, crazy stuff. Oh, and I got super lost trying to find TONI&GUY and as I was wandering around (so hot outside ughh) I was walked up these steps where this young guy and this older guy were talking, and right as I passed them, i tripped on the top step and fell on my hands and knees and screamed in a REALLY weird voice. I WAS SO EMBARASSED.

At Xidan, I just got alot of little things; makeup, accessories, random keychains, and circle lenses for me and Alan. I think I'm happier buying things for others hahaha, because if I buy things for myself its like...ahh idk idk if its worth it bahh...but for others its like 8D I HOPE THEY LIKE THIS AND IT MAKES THEM HAPPY. I don't know how much longer my wallet can take the strain for my happiness though HAHAHAHA orz. I had spicy lamb shishkabobs which were delicious and cheap and were so spicy that I actually ran to a water vendor and I motioned like a maniac for the water LOL. Transferred 4 times on the subway, felt like I was walking back bc of the distance for each station haha...alot of people were coughing, I hope I don't get sick : (

Sigh, tomorrow I'm back at art school and I don't think I'll be taking another break/ditching/getting kicked out (I hope not LOL) until my birthday in 6 days. Parents are going to INDIA during my Bday and I don't know when I'll see them or my sisters again huuuuu Family-loneliness is kicking in again hahaha I'll try my best tomorrow though!

She and Skylee are my biggest role models right now. If I had HALF the optimism and work ethic they do, I'd be so happy. I just need to remember them when I'm feeling down, but its been hard lately. I WILL TRY HARDER.
